Handle the lenses only with your fingertips. Avoid using your nails, as they can tear the lenses. Examine the bowl of the lens to ensure the edge is not curved outwards. If it is, the lens is inside out.
With one hand, gently lift your upper lid. Using your other hand, gently pull down your lower lid and place the lens on your eye with your forefinger.
Release your fingers from your eyelids. Close your eyes and blink two or three times. Gently massage your eye in a circular motion to center the lens. Repeat the process with the other eye.
